The Outrigger




A new project has begun.  A group of library supervisors from around the state have joined together to create an electronic handbook for school librarians that will provide guidance to local school divisions as they create/develop their own library handbook.  Issues such as copyright, collection development, advocacy, budget, professional growth and development, and instructional stragtegies will be explored.  It will include resources, a desciption of the related research and links to documents that will be valuable to school divisions and individual librarians. 

Watch the Halyard for details as this project progresses.

    Thank so very much for the webiste http://www.answers.com which you included in the current edition of your Halyard Publication. It has already proven useful
    for ELS students since it provides the syllabication and pronunciation guide to Standard English Words.
